Tales & Conquest is being developed first as a standalone web-app and mobile app, alongside a version played directly on Twitter/X, with future plans of expanding into or being adapted to work within other game engines and platforms.
T&C offers both solo adventures and cooperative or competitive multiplayer modes. Players can choose to explore the world on their own or invite friends, AI companions, or a mix of both to join their quests. This flexibility ensures that every play style—from solitary exploration to team-based missions—can find a home in T&C’s evolving universe.
Gameplay unfolds through a chat interface where players type out their intended actions. Each move is processed by the AI Game Master, which handles any relevant dice rolls and narrates the resulting scenario. To enhance immersion, a concept image is generated for each scene, offering a visual snapshot of the unfolding story using a text-to-image model.
T&C tracks player engagement through leaderboards, initially awarding points for active participation. In future updates, players who rank highly may be eligible for special prizes or token airdrops. Leaderboards will evolve alongside the game, reflecting both in-game accomplishments and meaningful contributions to T&C’s growth.
A strong community of early supporters is essential for T&C’s success. To that end, feedback—ranging from reporting bugs to suggesting new features—will be factored into each player’s standing on the leaderboards. An official feedback form will be introduced shortly after the web-based version launches, providing a way for players to share their insights and help shape the game’s development.
With centralized AI providers, similar to social media platforms, you (the user) are the product and the companies own everything you input into these conversations. They also censor topics based on the company's viewpoint. We believe in privacy-focused, independent AI that is uncensored and does not rely on centralized providers.
Therefore, Tales & Conquest has a firm commitment to only leveraging and using open-source AI models and/or decentralized inference providers. T&C is closely aligned with the Morpheus ecosystem, even adapting the novel MOR20 model as a cornerstone of the $TALES tokenomics. During early development, T&C will also collaborate with Venice.ai to power its agentic systems using Venice's privacy-focused open-source models.
